Every Small Life Deserves a Big Home.

We pull hamsters from neglected tanks and guinea pigs from cardboard boxes, vet them, and match them with families who know that a wheek at feeding time is a love language.

Mochi

8 months
ActiveSolo OnlyNight OwlLoves Blueberries

Mochi arrived in a plastic tub with no bedding and a water bottle that hadn't been filled in days. She is now the bravest hamster in Brooklyn. She sprints her wheel like she's training for something, organizes her food cache with terrifying precision, and will sit in your palm for a full minute if you hold still.

πŸ’‘

She stashes blueberries in her left cheek pouch first, always. We've tested this seventeen times.

Biscuit & Gravy

1 year
Bonded PairVery Vocal5pm WheekKid Friendly

Biscuit is the talker. Gravy is the muscle. Together they form a bonded pair who arrived in a cardboard shoebox from a college move-out. Biscuit wheeks at 5pm every single day, and Gravy presses his forehead against your hand like a tiny, warm apology for all the lettuce he's about to demand.

πŸ’‘

They must be adopted together. Gravy stopped eating for two days when Biscuit was in the vet bay. That's love.

Pistachio

6 months
DwarfSolo OnlyInterior DecoratorCrepuscular

Pistachio was found in a glass tank with three other hamsters, which is basically hamster chaos. She's been desocialized from other hamsters and is thriving in her own space. She's a dwarf with enormous opinions about rearranging her hideout, and she will absolutely drag her wooden bridge to a new location every morning.

πŸ’‘

She's a Russian Dwarf hamster, which means she's technically crepuscular β€” she peaks at dawn and dusk, perfect for early risers and night owls both.

Pepper

2 years
SeniorLap PigKid GentlePurrs

Pepper is the senior resident. She came to us after her owner moved to a no-pets building and cried dropping her off. She's calm, she's seen things, and she will sit in a lap for forty minutes watching whatever you're watching. She's especially good with children because nothing surprises her anymore.

πŸ’‘

She purrs when you scratch behind her ears. Not metaphorically β€” a genuine low-frequency purr that you can feel in your fingertips.

The Process

From Cardboard Box to Your Lap

Three steps. Zero shortcuts. One animal who was waiting for exactly you.

01

We Pull

We monitor Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, and tips from neighbors. When we find a hamster in a too-small tank or guinea pigs in a cardboard box, we go get them.

02

We Vet

Every animal gets a full checkup at our partner clinic on Atlantic Ave β€” weight, teeth, parasite screen, and a temperament assessment. No shortcuts.

03

We Match

We read your adoption form carefully. Mochi goes to the night-owl grad student. Pepper goes to the family with the gentle seven-year-old. We match personalities, not just paperwork.

Your Neighborhood

This is Your Rescue

We're not a warehouse across town. We're three blocks away, run by people who know your building's pet policy.

"I live in a no-dogs building. Mango the guinea pig has been the best decision of my adult life. He wheeks every time I open the fridge. Every. Time."

Lower Commitment

Not Ready Yet? Foster for a Weekend.

Fostering means hosting one of our animals for a weekend or two while we find their permanent home. You get all the warmth of a tiny companion, we get critical socialization data, and the animal gets a real home environment instead of a rescue enclosure.
